Terms and Conditions


These Terms of Sale, together with any and all other documents referred to herein, set out the terms under which Goods and Bespoke Goods are sold by Jill McBride LTD to consumers through this website, wwwjillmcbride.co.uk.  Please read these Terms of Sale carefully and ensure that you understand them before ordering any Goods from Our Site. You will be required to read and accept these Terms of Sale when ordering Goods.  If you do not agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Sale, you will not be able to order Goods and/or Bespoke Goods through Our Site. 

Accepting the Delivery of your Order

All orders must be signed for/taken in by the courier or postal service. Please note if you requested for your package to be left outside/ safe place etc then you forfeit the right to make any claim from the couriers/postal services of any events of loss or damage.

It is your responsibility to check for loss or damage.

We do accept returns. If the buyer changes their mind about a purchase and asks us to cancel an order, we can do this. A full refund can be issued providing the order hasn’t been dispatched. If the buyer has requested to cancel the order after it has been dispatched and delivered, then the following procedure must be followed:

Returns

If your not completely happy with your order, you are entitled to cancel the contract under the Distance Selling Regulations, provided you exercise your right no longer than 3 working days after you receive the goods. Please contact me within 3 days to notify us of the return and reason prior to returning the item.

Return the item in original condition no longer than 14 days of receipt/payment.

Return goods should be unused and must be returned in original packaging with any enclosed documentation. We will issue a full refund on receipt, excluding the original delivery charge.

Alternatively, if preferred we will exchange the goods upon receipt for the extra delivery charge.

Please note;

Goods will only be accepted for return if they are dispatched within 14 days of delivery, unless we have notified via email.

The goods are your responsibility until it reaches Jill McBride LTD. Therefore for your own protection the goods must be insured to their value in case of any loss or damage whilst being returned via the courier or postal sevice.

Goods must be returned in their original packaging, unused and in good condition. If the goods arrive back damaged with parts missing or in damaged packaging, we will not be able to issue a refund. Please note that also applies for any damaged goods whilst in transit.

The cost of returning the goods to us is your responsibility. Please note that with the exception of faulty goods or goods damaged during transit, we are not responsible for return postage.

Please note: unauthorised returns shall be disposed of after a period of 28 days. Refunds for authorised returns will be processed after 7 days of receipt and will be issued via the original payment method used by the customer.

Cancelling the Order

We do accept cancellations and our cancellations do depend of a number of factors.

If a customer changes their minds and asks us to cancel an order before we have dispatched, we can do soothes and issue a full refund provided the order has not yet been dispatched.

If a buyer has requested to cancel and order after the goods have Benn dispatched or delivered to them, then our returns policy procedure must be followed.

If a buyer refuses to accept a delivery from our courier or postal service because they wish to cancel and the package is subsequently returned to us by the courier, them this will be treated as a unauthorised return.

Delivery Issues

Your Order has not arrived

if your consignment has not arrived within the expected delivery timescale please contact me and we will be very happy to help track the order. Sometimes for reasons out of our control, deliveries can be delayed. We will do our best to help if this happens, but we cannot be held responsible for delays and do not offer compensation for late deliveries.

Lost Consignment

Unfortunalty on rare occasions, orders can go missing. If a package appears to have been lost in transit please contact me and we will contact our couriers/ postal services and rectify the problem as soon as possible. We will be unable to replace or resend any order until this process has been completed and carried out. This can take up to 14 days, if a package is confirmed lost, then we will offer a full refund or replacement.

Damaged Consignment

If a package clearly arrives damaged/opened then the customer must refuse delivery. We will replace any damaged order at no extra cost to the buyer, but only if the order is returned to us via the courier / postal service. Please contact me to let me know if this happens.

In the unlikely event the order is found to be damaged or faulty (mis printed) when the package has been opened then the returns policy applies and we will send a replacement at no extra cost the buyer or offer a full refund providing the returns policy has been followed.

Failed Deliveries

If the buyer has exhausted all delivery attempts or failed to respond to a card to rearrange a delivery then the item will be returned to the studio it was printed. We are charged for all returns, so if an order is sent back to Jill McBride LTD, we will contact the buyer for the return costs.

International Delivery

We offer Global delivery. There will be no import charges for UK or EU customers for Giclee Art Prints, these are produced in London, United Kingdom and Dusseldorf, Germany. For the rest of the World there may be taxes or charges for the Giclee Art Prints. Please check with your country if this applies to you.

Conditions of Use

When you place an order with Jill McBride LTD it will be deemed that you have read, understood and agreeded to these Terms and Conditions, our Delivery and Returns Policy and our Privacy and Cookie Statement.

If you are unhappy with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you should contact me before placing an order.

You may place an order through wwwjillmcbride.co.uk website, so by doing so you are making an offer to Jill McBride LTD to purchase the goods outlined in your order upon the terms described in your order.

You may place an order, we will require your name, telephone number, email address, payment details and address. This information is required in order to process your request and inform you of acceptance of your order. A contact phone number/ email address is needed so we can get in touch with you if their is a problem with your order.

After the order has been placed online, we will contact you via email to confirm your order has been received. The contract will only exist when the order has been processed and dispatched.

Please note we will not be able to meet any obligations as a result of the following terms:

  • The product is out of stock.

  • Your payment hasn’t been authorised.

  • A product description or price error has occurred.

  • The order criteria in the Terms and Conditions have failed to met by the customer.

  • Unfortunate delivery conditions out of our control are temporarily happening.

  • JillMcBride LTD reserves the right to reject any order offers from the customers at any time.

If there is a problem with your order, we will be in touch via email or telephone. Please check all receipts for the correct orders. as damaged or faulty goods must be reported within 3 days of receipt of the package.

Please note that whilst we make every attempt to take care of your order details and payment secure. We cannot be held responsible for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any information that you supply to us when accessing or ordering from Jill McBride LTD.

Product Pricing and Descriptions

We take a lot of care to ensure the details of product description and prices are correct when appearing on the website are correct.


Images of Goods are for illustrative purposes only. There may be slight variations between the image of a product and the actual product sold due to differences in computer displays and lighting conditions and, in the case of Bespoke Goods, variations resulting from your specific requirements;

  • Due to the nature of the Goods and Bespoke sold through Our Site, there may be up to a 5% variance in the colour of those Goods and/or Bespoke Goods - Giclee Prints.

  • We make all reasonable efforts to ensure that all prices shown on Our Site are correct at the time of going online. We reserve the right to change prices and to add, alter, or remove special offers from time to time and as necessary. All pricing information is reviewed and updated every 3 months Changes in price will not affect any order that you have already placed.

  • In the unlikely event that We have shown incorrect pricing information, We will contact you in writing to inform you of the mistake. If the correct price is higher, We will give you the option to purchase the Goods at the correct price or to cancel your Order (or the affected part of it). We will not proceed with processing your Order in this case until you respond. If We do not receive a response from you within 7 days, We will treat your Order as cancelled and notify you of this in writing.

  • In the event that the price of Goods and/or Bespoke Goods you have ordered changes between your Order being placed and Us processing that Order and taking payment, you will be charged the price shown on Our Site at the time of placing your Order.

  • All prices on Our Site include VAT. If the VAT rate changes between your Order being placed and Us taking payment, the amount of VAT payable will be automatically adjusted when taking payment.

  • Delivery charges are not included in the price of Goods or Bespoke Goods displayed on Our Site. For more information on delivery charges, please refer to here. Delivery options and related charges will be presented to you as part of the order process.

Payment

  • Payment for Goods and/or Bespoke Goods and related delivery charges must always be made in advance and you will be prompted to pay during the order process.

  • We accept the following methods of payment on Our Site:

      1. All major credit and debit cards - Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Diners, China UnionPay, JCB, Cartes Bancaires, Interac.

      2. Apple Pay
